Isabella Ortiz is passionate about creating sustainable organizational change through research-based practices. She joined the EDC team as an intern in the Fall of 2025. Isabella supports client projects by conducting research, preparing materials, and assisting with creative and administrative tasks that keep the team running smoothly. She also contributes to internal initiatives, including marketing support and general project coordination.

As an AmeriCorps alum, Isabella is deeply committed to work that values diverse perspectives and community-centered approaches. She served from 2024 to 2025 at the Martha O’Bryan Center, a boutique family services nonprofit in Nashville, TN, where she learned about organizational operations through a service lens and observed the dynamics between leadership, staff, and clients.

Isabella graduated from Belmont University in 2023 with a degree in English Honors. She plans to pursue her PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology starting in Fall of 2026.

She lives in North Carolina, where she enjoys performing and listening to classical music, spending time outdoors, and being with her family.
