Ted Freeman, Psy.D.
Consultant

Dr. Ted Freeman draws on twenty years of consulting and executive experience to catalyze sustainable financial growth, while deepening wellbeing in client companies. He works with CEOs and other executives to expand leadership capacity, optimize team performance, generate high-impact cultures and navigate leadership transitions.

Previously Ted served as VP of People & Culture at celebrated innovator and startup BioLite.  He built the talent strategy, established the people infrastructure and deepened inclusion and diversity practices to accelerate the company’s already rapid growth. In this global role, Ted aligned policy across U.S. and Kenyan business units and fostered collaboration to enhance operational performance.

As Chief Culture Officer at EILEEN FISHER, INC., Ted led the People and Culture teams as well as Information Technology.  He spearheaded a comprehensive strategy to reshape the business model, enact digital transformation, overhaul supply chain operations, and invigorate the company culture -- advancing the company mission to be a force for good in the apparel industry.  

He couples his executive background with more than a decade of consulting experience in leadership development, organizational effectiveness and executive coaching. As a principal at Praxis Consulting Group -- the premiere organization development firm serving employee-owned companies -  he advised scores of organizations across retail, manufacturing, professional services, health care, aerospace, and financial services.  As a consultant with the Kaleel Jamison Consulting Group he designed and implemented strategic culture change initiatives to embrace inclusion and diversity. 

Ted held a senior staff position at the Wharton School’s Executive Development Program and has taught leadership, organization development, and consulting at Rutgers University, University of Pennsylvania, and George Mason University.

He graduated Cum Laude from Haverford College with a degree in Psychology, and earned a doctorate in Organizational Psychology from Rutgers University.  He is certified in SAVI Communications and multiple assessment instruments, including Hogan personality and leadership assessments and the Clark Wilson Leadership Series.

Ted lives with his wife and two daughters in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
