Associate Consultant
Kiana King is a recent graduate and emerging professional in the field of Industrial Organizational Psychology. She desires to specialize in leadership development and seeks to promoted more equitable and inclusive strategies to ensure all voices are recognized and valued in the workplace.
Kiana Kiana was formerly a Consulting intern and Independent Contractor with Lotis Blue Consulting in Chicago IL. Here she worked with the behavioral science team, conducting leadership assessment centers, analyzing performance and creating written reports. She gained increased experience in data collection, entry and interpretation.
Preceding her time at Lotis Blue Consulting, Kiana was a graduate research assistant and full-time graduate student at DePaul University in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology M.A./PhD Program, where she collaborated with colleagues on various research projects and activities. She also served as the research coordinator for the entire Psychology department for four years, managing all operations for the introductory Psychology SONA research system and handling communications with student, faculty and researchers.
Kiana has been affiliated with Executive Development Consulting for almost four years, honing her skills in 360-degree feedback, competency modeling, and assessment report writing.
Kiana has a Master of Arts Degree with distinction in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Her graduate research mainly focused on employee well-being and representation and racial trauma in the workplace. She graduated from the University of Missouri, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a minor in Statistics, Departmental Honors, and a multicultural certificate.
She currently lives in Chicago, IL.
