Dr. Ortiz provides executive assessment, coaching, and talent management consultation services aimed at creating sustainable improvements in individual and organizational performance. By leveraging industry-leading assessment techniques to define and objectively measure the leadership skills that impact key business drivers, he helps senior executives and organizations to establish targeted plans for increased effectiveness.
Adam brings a broad and pragmatic perspective to his client’s unique business needs and circumstances. This perspective has evolved over the last 20 years through working with leaders from around the world and across a wide range of Fortune 500 companies in industries such as financial services, technology, manufacturing, retail and energy. He is particularly known for his work assessing executives and assisting them to develop core leadership, self-management, and communication skills.
Adam has held executive leadership positions at Time Warner and Bank of America. In these organizations, he was instrumental in the design and implementation of talent management and development solutions. In addition, he spent several years with Personnel Decisions International, where he designed and managed large-scale talent solutions and provided executive assessment and coaching services. He began his career with the United States Air Force. During this time, he worked with Air Force managers and leaders in environments, such as the Persian Gulf to adapt their skills to the special demands of the military.
Adam has provided assessment, coaching and talent management consultation services to companies such as AMD, American Express, Bank of America, BlackRock, Boehringer Ingelheim, Brink’s, Cardtronics, Citigroup, DaimlerChrysler, DPDHL, Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, Illinois Tool Works, John Deere, Johnson & Johnson, Lowe’s, New York Life, Nike, Protective Life, Rolls Royce, Royal Dutch Shell, Saudi ARAMCO, Thomson Reuters, and Time Warner, amongst others.
Adam graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Social Psychology from Park College in Parkville, Missouri, and received his doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a licensed Psychologist in the state of Minnesota.
