Named one of Black Enterprise’s 2018 Corporate Diversity Executives, LaToya Jordan has spent over 15 years as a human capital strategist supporting leaders through her unique, human-centered approach to talent strategy as well as leadership and team development. ​

Combining expertise and empathy with a human-centered focus, she inspires her clients to tap into their natural leadership style so they can lead authentically, grow courageously, and inspire greatness in others.​

LaToya has served as a consultant, leadership facilitator, and executive coach for diverse corporate and nonprofit organizations on topics relating to business theories and design, leadership, DEI, engagement, retention, and overall employee/team development. She has worked with organizations such as Peloton, Uber, Cigna, T-Mobile, Mitsubishi, Tapestry, Coach, Swiss Re, Michigan State University, and The Columbus Foundation, and she has presented her research at various professional conferences and served on multiple panels.​

Prior to starting her practice, she was the Director of Talent Management & Diversity at JetBlue where she led critical aspects of the company’s overall talent strategy, including executive succession planning, performance management, diversity initiatives, and emerging talent programs. She also was responsible for embedding a design thinking practice within the organization, leading to several internal and customer-facing innovations.​

LaToya currently serves as an adjunct professor in Small Group Intervention at Columbia University, where she prepares organizational psychology graduate students to facilitate team development. She also teaches design thinking to executives at Stanford University’s esteemed dSchool.​

LaToya received her Ph.D. in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. She also volunteers with several civic organizations in Brooklyn and currently sits on the Advisory Board of Seeds of Fortune. LaToya currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, with her husband and two children.​
