Christine Linder brings over 20 years of business and creative leadership experience to EDC’s materials development. Prior to joining EDC, she founded Free Radical Collective, a boutique creative agency where she worked with leading brands to develop marketing collateral, learning materials, presentations, and visual communication assets. Her recent client work includes projects for Adidas, Cisco, Docker, Microsoft, Nike, Salesforce, Service Now, Jobvite, and Johnson & Johnson as well as several local government agencies.
Prior to launching Free Radical, Christine was a founding employee of Pivot Leadership, a boutique leadership development firm based in Portland, Oregon. In this role, Christine had creative oversight for all client facing programmatic materials, as well as corporate marketing, business development, and intellectual property development. As a start-up leader, Christine created and maintained design standards and guidelines across all of Pivot’s outgoing work and managed outside vendors/contractors around the world.
Her postcollegiate career began during the dot-com boom in the SF Bay Area where she worked as an executive assistant and team leader at Autodesk, Inc. During college, she funded her education at CSU Northridge by working as an assistant in the entertainment industry, supporting managers for Bob Dylan, Edie Brickell, and others.
Now based in the San Francisco bay area, she lives in Benicia with her husband, two kids, and two dogs. An active volunteer in her community, she is a Girl Scout leader, the Vice President of Volunteers for her local PTA, a Board Member and the creator of ”Gimme A Beat”, an annual benefit concert that funds music education for all students in local area schools. In 2019, she formed The Recess Team, an all volunteer, school-based program that connects parents and community leaders with kids through weekly recess activities aimed at reducing bullying and improving well-being through play.
