Amy Sukinik is a Partner at EDC, helping organizations to unleash their leaders’ true potential through executive assessment, coaching, and talent and organizational development solutions. With over 15 years of experience across a wide array of industries, Amy has a proven track record of collaborating with business leaders to ensure that leadership and talent management solutions address individual development needs in the context of critical business issues and current market conditions. Her clients include NBC Universal, BlackRock, the NBA (National Basketball Association), Nike, and KPMG LLP amongst others.
Prior to EDC, Amy was a key member of the Talent Development organization at KPMG LLP with responsibility for designing and implementing executive development programs customized to reflect the competencies needed to drive business results. One of her most notable accomplishments was leading the design, development and delivery of a firm-wide change initiative to build a high performance culture. Her expertise in the areas of performance management, competency modeling, behavioral assessment, and program design enabled her to successfully reach over 26,000 employees through this effort. Also of note, Amy served as a primary architect for the firm’s first virtual Diversity & Inclusion conference which boasted over 750 attendees from across the globe.
Before joining KPMG, Amy was a senior consultant at Guardian Life Insurance. While there, she launched an organization-wide change management initiative to drive high performance through the redesign of the company’s performance management process, talent selection and development practices, and recognition and reward systems. She also built an internal coaching practice and provided guidance to business leaders on coaching engagements, 360° assessment, and development planning.
Amy earned a MS in Counseling and College Student Development from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and a BA in English Literature from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. She lives with her husband, Reid, and daughter, Rosie, on the Jersey Shore, where she takes full advantage of the many opportunities that living by the beach provides.
